If you receive an item that is incorrect (wrong color, hardware, or configuration), contact us within 5 days of delivery. We will remake or replace the item at no cost.

Defects & Warranty

If your item has a defect in materials or craftsmanship, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will repair or replace the item after reviewing the issue.

Normal wear and tear
Damage from misuse or improper handling
Chewing or accidental damage

What’s the main difference between Biothane and leather?

Biothane is a coated webbing designed for durability and weather resistance. Leather is a natural material that’s valued for its look and feel but requires more upkeep and is more affected by the environment.

Which one lasts longer?

Biothane generally lasts longer with consistent use. It doesn’t absorb water, won’t rot, and resists cracking over time. Leather can last, but only with regular conditioning and care.

How do they handle water and dirt?

Biothane is fully waterproof and non-porous, so mud, water, and odors don’t soak in. It can be rinsed clean in seconds.

Leather absorbs moisture, which can lead to stiffness, odor, or long-term damage if not maintained.

Which is easier to maintain?

Biothane requires almost no maintenance—just wipe or rinse it off.

Leather needs regular cleaning and conditioning to prevent drying, cracking, and wear.

How do I measure my dog for a collar?

Use a soft measuring tape and measure around your dog’s neck where the collar will naturally sit. The tape should be snug, but not tight—similar to how you’d want the collar to fit. If you don’t have a measuring tape, you can use a string and measure it against a ruler.

How should a collar fit?

A properly fitted collar should allow you to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck. It should be secure enough not to slip over the head, but not tight enough to cause pressure or rubbing.

What if my dog is between sizes?

If your dog falls between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort. If you prefer a more precise fit, reach out and we can help guide you based on your measurements and the type of collar.

Are your collars adjustable?

Adjustment varies by style. Many collars include an adjustable range, while select designs are made to a fixed size for a more precise fit.

Can I request a custom size?

Yes!! If your dog falls outside standard sizing or you want a very specific fit, contact us directly.

How do I measure for a leash?

Leash length depends on your preference, your dog, and how you plan to use it. A 6-foot leash is a versatile everyday option, while longer lines, such as 15–20 feet, are best for training, recall work, and giving your dog more room to explore.

Hands-free leashes are typically 7–9 feet, depending on your height, your dog’s size, and the features you choose to include.

What width should I choose?

Width depends on your dog’s size, strength, and the style of gear you choose. Wider gear offers more strength and durability, making it a good option for larger or stronger dogs. Narrower widths are lighter and often better suited for smaller dogs or dogs who don’t pull.

For leashes, consider both the width and length, since longer or wider leashes may feel heavier in hand. For collars, the best width depends on the collar style, your dog’s size, and what will feel comfortable for everyday wear.

What if I order the wrong size?

What’s the difference between single color and dual color?

Single color uses one consistent color throughout the piece. Dual color combines two colors, typically a main color with an accent, for a more customized look.

Hardware choice is mostly preference, but it can also depend on use. Some styles are more lightweight, while others are heavier and built for added strength. If you’re unsure, choose based on your dog’s size and activity level or reach out for guidance.

What type of leash attachment should I choose?

Different clips serve different purposes, and the best option depends on how you plan to use your gear. Standard snap clips are simple and reliable for everyday use, while carabiners, frog clips, and other heavy-duty options are better suited for stronger dogs, active use, or more demanding situations.

What is a traffic handle and do I need one?

A traffic handle is a secondary handle near the clip that gives you quick, close control of your dog. It’s useful in high-traffic areas, training, or situations where you need your dog close.

How long does it take to make my order?

Each item is made to order. Production time typically ranges from a few days up to 1–2 weeks, depending on order volume and complexity.
